REPARIL (AESCIN) 20MG TABLET

Reparil (Aescin) 20 mg tablet is a medication used to

  • reduce swelling, inflammation
  • for pain associated with soft tissue injuries,
  • for post-operative swelling
  • for venous conditions (such as varicose veins or hemorrhoids)

It contains amorphous aescin, which is derived from horse chestnut (Aesculus hippocastanum) and acts as a capillary-stabilizing agent.

Taken orally, preferably after meals with liquid.

  • Adults and Adolescents (>14 years):2 tablets, 3 times daily.Maintenance dose/Milder cases: 1 tablet, 3 times daily.
  • Children (7-14 years): 1 tablet, 2 to 3 times daily.
