Emoflon™ rectal ointment is intended for the treatment of symptoms associated with hemorrhoidal disease and its complications (eg, eczema, anal fissure). It covers and protects the epidermis, and provides care to inflamed, itchy skin, helping to promote skin regeneration. It diminishes the drying out of the skin, which helps in wound healing, and reduces the risk of fissure and injury caused by defecation.

  • Wash your hands before use Emoflon™ rectal ointment.
  • The ointment should be put on the periphery of the anus, possibly after defecation or a sitz bath, or a small amount of the ointment (pea-sized) should be put into the rectum using the applicator.
  • Make sure that the tube and the applicator are properly connected.
  • Wash the applicator with warm water and soap and close the tube with the protective cap after usage.
  • Always wash your hands after using the ointment. It is advisable to use the ointment once or twice daily.
  • The applicator can only be used by one person.
