In partnership with MAHSA International School Kuala Lumpur (MISKL), MAHSA Specialist Hospital launched a Health and Wellbeing programme called HealWell Kids. This initiative aimed to educate schoolchildren and their parents about the importance of proper child care and well-being.
The delightful and informative event was held on 23rd February 2023 at MAHSA International School, with the school’s principal officiating the launch.
Throughout the day, there were engaging booths offering a variety of services: health screenings, dental checks, hand sanitisation demonstrations, first aid and CPR training, an inflatable heart exhibit, physiotherapy sessions, vaccination information, nutritional guidance, and even the chance to explore an ambulance. These charming booths provided not only complimentary check-ups and general care demonstrations but also interactive educational games to keep the children entertained. Puppet shows were also included as part of the oral health education programme, adding to the children’s enjoyment.
In addition to the interactive booths, a series of informative talks were delivered for parents. Dato’ Dr Anitha provided a talk on childhood obesity, while Yakult presented on general and oral health, equipping parents with essential knowledge to ensure their children’s well-being.
The programme successfully combined educational health talks, engaging activities, and captivating performances, all designed to be fun and informative for the target audience.
